After completing the website, I was given the opportunity to join the Board of Directors as the Communications Chair. As part of my tenure, I wanted to focus on building building the brand of the chapter to better deliver the mission statement to be the “premier professional membership society for leaders of healthcare”.
Joshua Martin Studios
It all started when…
When I saw this video on my friend Joshua’s YouTube channel. His gear had been stolen… and I thought I could do something to help. So I reached out a number of gear manufacturers that produced the gear that he lost and asked for free replacements, and low and behold a number of them said yes! And one even offered to become a brand partner. That’s when we realized we had something, and the partnership between Joshua and I started with Joshua Martin Studios. In May of 2018, we made the business officially by establishing an LLC. After three years of growth and amazing projects, Joshua and I were both able to get some amazing new full-time opportunities. Toward the end of 2021, we made the decision to wind down the business in order to be able to devote more of our energy to our main jobs and other personal opportunities. It was an incredible learning opportunity, and I’m excited about what Joshua and I might collaborate on in the future… this time simply as friends :)

COFFEE WITH CODY
Coffee with Cody is a platform that leverages my favorite beverage, coffee, to establish connections with interesting people in business, arts and life and explore what has brought them to where they are today. It has been slow getting off the ground due to other priorities, but I’m very exited about continuing to bring it to life in the future. PRODUCED PODCAST
The Produced Podcast came out of my venture with Joshua Martin Studios - we wanted to share our learnings from building a creative enterprise with all those who are or will attempt to build their own. The podcast featured dialogue between myself and Joshua as well as conversations with a number of other creatives who are building/creating amazing things. We soon realized that creating a podcast is much more than simply having conversations into a mic, and decided that we’d put it on hold indefinitely…. maybe we’ll bring it back some day - who knows? ;)
